W.R Case & Sons Cutlery Company and custom knife maker Tony Bose continue their historic and award-winning collaboration with the release of the Norfolk, the eleventh knife in the celebrated series. As with previous models, Case worked with Tony Bose to produce a factory made knife that nearly duplicates the custom knife Bose makes in his workshop. Tony's design was inspired by the original Norfolk knife, built by Joseph Rogers & Sons of Sheffield, England for The Great Exhibition of 1851. That knife was some 2 1/2 feet long, with 75 blades and implements. At 3 3/4 inches, the new Case/Bose version will fit more comfortably in the pocket. The Wharncliffe and Short Clip are made from 154-CM, the high performance stainless alloy preferred by Bose and discerning knife enthusiasts. Other Bose touches include dramatic blade swedging, stainless liners milled for improved blade fall, and a traditional Badge shield pinned to the scale. The Norfolk also features " sunken joints" which make the tangs of each blade nearly disappear into the handle when closed.
